A good deal is easy. A good membership product is not.

Nommy started with a simple tension: people say they want to try new restaurants, then default to the same familiar places. Restaurants have empty tables outside peak hours and limited ways to fill them efficiently. The product had to make both sides work at once: give members a real reason to try somewhere new, and give restaurants measurable traffic without turning the experience into a discount marketplace.

The harder part came after launch. Free rewards are easy to like. A membership product only works if people understand the value well enough to pay, come back, and keep using it. By mid-2026, Nommy had enough usage data to see where the journey was losing people. Version two was built around those drop-off points.

Keep shipping while the business model evolved

Validate first, then ship, measure, rebuild what matters.

We did not treat Nommy like a client handoff. Neo Vision co-founded the company with Eduard Burghelia and Promocrat, invested alongside V7 Capital, and took ownership of the product itself: mobile apps, backend, data model, payments, loyalty, analytics, and every release since the repository was created in January 2025.

That changed the way decisions were made. The first prototype went live in a week because the business model needed validation before the product deserved heavy investment. The first full version took roughly four months. Then we kept iterating against real usage data, which eventually led to version two: shorter onboarding, a better-timed paywall, new plan tiers, a rebuilt booking flow, and a loyalty system designed to bring members back.

The product grew in layers as the business proved what it needed next: from MVP to a full membership platform.

01.

Discovery, booking and membership

Core product

React Native apps for iOS and Android with map-based discovery, filters, video content, restaurant deals, phone login, bookings, QR redemption, Stripe subscriptions, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

02.

Attribution, analytics and campaigns

Growth stack

AppsFlyer for attribution, PostHog for product analytics, OneSignal for push campaigns, an admin API for restaurant management, and campaign tooling that does not depend on an app release.

03.

Restaurant loyalty system

Retention

NFC and QR check-ins, a stamp ledger, venue-specific rewards, a web check-in flow for users without the app, and email and push sequences that bring people back for the next visit.

04.

Rebuilt around conversion data

Version two

Onboarding dropped from nine screens to six, the paywall moved out of onboarding, plans were restructured into three tiers, booking and redemption became one step, and new deal types were added with their own server-side logic.

The numbers speak.

continuous development

Nommy is still being developed. The same team has stayed on the product from the first repository commit through two major versions and the current growth phase.

Need a product partner who stays after version one?

We co-founded Nommy and have shipped it continuously for 21 months, through two major versions and a full rebuild of how people subscribe. If the product needs to keep evolving after launch, that is the part we are built for.
