NGOs do the work but cannot tell the story.
Clearimpact set out to change how NGOs communicate impact, through reports, newsletters, and social posts. The people who run NGOs are not designers, and the tools that produce professional, brand-aligned material usually assume you are. The platform had to put a real design surface in non-designers' hands, pair it with AI that drafts and sharpens copy, and keep the whole thing collaborative and on-brand.

AI across five functions meets a real visual builder.
Clearimpact pairs AI across five functions, drafting, suggestions, tone and length control, grammar, and analytics, with a true drag-and-drop builder. The builder runs on a forked Gridstack.js, patched for nested grids inside Vue 3, with a row, column, and block model and a single Pinia store as the source of truth. Block types cover text, headings, image, video, button, logo, and list, and a newsletter variant renders email-safe. AI text enhancement runs on OpenAI with tone and length controls, grammar checking maps ProWritingAid offsets onto Quill rich-text ranges for inline click-to-correct, and a Fabric.js canvas powers the social-post builder. The frontend is Nuxt 3 and Vue 3; Supabase runs the real-time database and backend.

The visual builder
A drag-and-drop builder on a forked Gridstack.js, patched for nested grids in Vue 3, with a row, column, and block model, multiple block types, and a single Pinia store as the source of truth.

AI and grammar
OpenAI text enhancement with tone and length controls for every format, and ProWritingAid grammar checking mapped onto Quill rich-text ranges for inline click-to-correct.

Real-time and media
Real-time collaboration over Socket.io with block-level locking so teams edit together without clashes, a media gallery with resumable TUS uploads, tagging, and soft-delete, and a Fabric.js canvas for social posts.

Export and launch
Reusable templates to save and reload, export to PDF via a headless renderer and to email-safe HTML, and Stripe subscriptions with idempotent webhook handling, shipped on Nuxt 3 and Supabase.
