Scattered effort, no shared picture.
Corporate environmental work in Romania was spread across dozens of companies with no single place to see who was doing what, or where. The story only made sense geographically, county by county, but there was no way to read it that way. And the list of companies, their environmental actions, and their NGO partners had to keep growing without a developer touching the site for every change.
The platform had to make a national picture legible at a glance, stay fast and usable on a phone, and hand full control of the content to a non-technical team.

We built the whole platform around one interactive map of Romania.
We designed every interface in Figma first, desktop and mobile, then built it. Each company became its own content record, tied to the counties it covers, with its environmental actions and NGO partners attached, and the whole experience was organised around a custom interactive map of Romania: the map is the navigation, not decoration.
Editors run the entire site through Advanced Custom Fields, so it grows without code. The page itself is a flexible builder, where an editor picks a hero style and stacks the sections they need, from a company grid to the map.

Designed in Figma, end to end
Design
We set the visual direction and designed every interface in Figma, desktop and mobile: the interactive map, the company listings, and the individual project pages, so the build had a clear, on-brand target before a line of code.

A record for every company
Content Model
We defined a custom company content type in Advanced Custom Fields, capturing each company's coverage across all 41 Romanian counties, its environmental actions, its NGO collaborations, and a detail popup. Everything an editor needs sits in one place.

An interactive map of Romania
The Map
We rendered a custom SVG map of Romania and wrote the logic to read its geometry, place a marker on every county with active companies, and keep those markers aligned through zoom, pan, and window resize. On mobile, a county selector takes over so the same data is one tap away.

Company panels and sliders
Profiles
Selecting a county opens the companies active there, each with a popup of images, description, calls to action, and social links, plus carousels for their environmental actions and partner NGOs. Sliders initialise and tear down cleanly so nothing leaks between views.

A flexible, editor-run page
Page Builder
We turned the page into modular sections an editor can assemble: a choice of hero styles, a company grid, and the map, all driven by Advanced Custom Fields, with scroll-triggered animation and lazy-loaded imagery.
